Social needs
We need to understand the following:
The need to be left alone
An inability to respond appropriately in a social situation
he inability to understand how others feel
Inappropriate use of eye contact
Inappropriate laughing or giggling
Not accepting hugging or touching unless self initiated
‘Odd’ play activities
Little sense of other people’s boundaries
Inappropriately intrusive: physically or verbally
Incessant preoccupation with a favourite subject
Incessant questioning
Inability to take turns
