Material Safety Data Sheets

Every essential oil supplied by a dealer to a customer must produce on request a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) which outlines the following:

bulletName of product, specification, origin
bulletHazardous ingredients (Risk phrase, toxicity, flammability etc)
bulletPhysical data (Physical and chemical composition, CAS number etc)
bulletFire and explosion hazard data (flash point, precautions)

Information from the MSDS can be used to help compile risk assessments when using essential oils in the workplace.
